Not sure if this has already been posted on here but time is running short for these guys to involve the government to stop the exportation of live animals for slaughter and this includes horses. THIS MUST BE STOPPED!

1,000,000 signatures needed to gain Government attention - deadline 4th November.

The latest news is that Thanet council is opposing the new ferry which was put in place specifically for these poor wretched animals. These animals cannot defend themselves and they are shipped to a terrible, barbaric death in some countries after having to endure journeys up to eight days without adequate food or water.

Anyone with any compassion must sign this.

It is the conditions under which horse travel that is the issue not what happens to them when they arrive. There is plenty of legislation it is just not enforced
 
we should be campaigning for slaughter as near to point of origin as possible. That would solve most of the problems. I have signed the 8 hour petition in the hope that it will make a difference but have my doubts :(
 
Already signed this but good for you keeping it going - come on folks get this on face book twitter at work everywhere - was protesting with daughter on her pony years ago so this is long in coming - horses cant speak for themselves so raise your voices and talk for them - hassle your MP (mine hates me) get talking to people at work (many will be surprised of the creulty inflicted ) FOR THE BEAUTIFUL HORSE RAISE YOUR VOICE STAMP YOUR FEET AND DEMAND ACTION FROM YOUR LOCAL MP x
