Petition to Save Inner City Stables

Our wonderful community riding centre, set in a unique urban location, is facing closure by the Westway Trust who own the land. West London Stables has been in operation for almost 20 years and during this time has provided affordable and subsidised riding and equine therapy for residents of inner city London, including disadvantaged children, young carers, disabled children and adults, individuals undergoing rehabilitation for addiction and other people that would not normally be able to experience the pleasure of being around horses. If the stables are to be closed, as per the plans of the Trust, not only will we no longer be able to carry out this work but over 22 horses and ponies, many of whom have lived at the stables for the majority of their lives, will be made homeless.

Done and shared on facebook. Good luck with the campaign to keep it open. Some things are priceless. The ability of children dwelling in city to meet real large animals is one of those things. The joy that pony-interactions bring to children and adults is also priceless.
