Pets names for your horse

Hey - glad I'm not the only one!

The mini ponies are called "the dinkie-winkies" - real names are Charlie & Flint.

Don't think I can admit to what I call the others - it would embarass them too much
 
my girl is called Pocohontas and regulary gets called the following

Pokey
pokey huntis
pokey la la
princess pokey
houdini (well she escapes ALOT)
 
You're definately not alone...my horse is called Louis but hardly ever gets called that!

His pet names include...most frequently 'Loops' and 'Lewis'

others include: handsome, monkey and sausage

Barney gets: barn, barnold, smelley, sausage, handsome, banaan, narn, narnold, gorgeous, sweets,sweetheart, naughty,Mr.B,soops,troops(his posh name is Super Trooper II)...the list is endless,

I call mine sausage, well I call all of the horses sausage, goregous and sweetie. Cowbag if being naughty!

George gets called Gorgeous a lot! He also gets called sweetie, baby and my love, and when he's scared by something he's called wuss!

People at the yard call him Mr Ed the talking horse because he stands flopping his lip up and down as if he's chatting!
 
Hmm, well she gets called a few nice ones, like Gorgeous, Babe etc

But most of the others go along the lines of cow, b*tch, fat head, and when I couldn't catch her the other day it was along the lines of "little ******* **** *****" But I love her really

Maddie= moon drop, moon, lady moon, miss moon or maddie moon drop
sandy= H2o because he drinks so much, sandy pandy or highland hunny
Willie= will, wills willamot, hunny bunny

Hope (horse) is also known as Hopeless, Boo, Fanny, Nelly, Nutter, Beautiful or Moo depending on what mood she is in or what she has done!

Cecil cat is aka Cecil 7 Bellies (although at the age of 21 they have shrunk to 1), Old Man, Ceebles or Cecily Wessily.

Kipper cat is aka Kippy noo-noo, Kippy no nuts, White Noise Boy (he is very simple), Obese Boy (he's also huge) or just plain Gorgeous

alice gets:

girly, the mare (only mare on yard) cooks, sweetie, baby, sweetheart, cow (depending on her mood) and of course when shes bad the full Reving Alice Patterson!!! lol
 
Jerry is 'jellytot', 'jez', smelly jelly, mr.handsome, pigeon or most commonly 'monster'

The cat, Skippy, is often 'Mr Skipplesworth'!
 
Charlie gets called mule, muley, charles, charlene and the obvious mr handsome!!!
Millie gets called moo, moosey, mamooshka!
Willow gets called will, willy

The cats nicknames are mr baby!!!, ginger ninja, scab, katie cat.
And nou nou (the dog) is nit wit, walf wit, nit noodles, noodles...she's a curly dog!!

There are some pretty good ones on here!
Maiden doesn't usually get called by her real name, in the first six months of owning her I hated the name and rarely used it! She is most commonly 'gorgeous', and a small selection of other names are: mare (inc. big, little, fat, porky, grey), pony, beast, noodle, dozy, fat, huge, heavy, and the latest one is where I just address her belly (as that seems to make up most of her these days!)
Cookie is just Cooks, or horrible (he's not really!)
 
Hi all, I'm new to the forum, when I had my highland on loan it would be Loopy lou, luce, looby, dippy or greedy mare!

When I used to ride my friend's scatty arab it would be Rupes, rupert pooh or, not wanting to offend my friend too much by calling him something really defamatory, "you little TINKER!" (and something more colourful under my breath).
