I can't understand how my rugs get ripped!

These are both my own horses. Guess which one is the 3 year old, and which is the 18 year old....:o I do believe this is what is known as 'brotherly love'..... and is the horse equivalent to a good ol' fashioned wedgie! xx

what a great pic looks like your boys have lots of fun!

They do indeed! I have some great photo's of them playing together (I will try find a couple....). This one in my OP was taken after a long day showing with my coloured. Popped him in the field, and all the poor little dude wanted to do was have a roll! Sammi had other ideas mind! xx :D

Said rug has a massive tear in the side now, probably more than a foot in length. Took me an ice age to sew it up! Other liveries commented they wonder who had done it! Errrrmmmm.... certainly not my golden oldie that can do no wrong.... :o :o xx

Great photo - a hot glue gun is great for small repairs on synthetic covers.

LOL! Bless :) My phantom rug ripper is a wether sheep called Benjy - I'd put one of Merlin's rugs over the partition bar in the field shelter to dry and left the gate open while I was faffing about in the shed. Benjy got in, got his head through a leg strap and took it on a high speed lap of the field, 3 foot rip in the right hand side - fortunately down the seam!

Looks like his showing him he can play too :D

Indeed! The shots I got after this are hilarious. As he landed it dawned on him what he had just done, and he legged it with Sam following close behind. The expression on his little face was priceless! xx

I love his pigtail!

Thank you! xx :)

Putting him in his place!!
Rugs do make fun games though :)

It makes you wonder why you even bother faffing putting rugs on, making sure they are well fitted and sat right..... just for that to happen! xx

Great idea, thank you muchly! As you may appreciate, I think a glue gun would be definitely warranted for me! xx

Lovely pictures :D

Why, thank you Mrs. M! xx :)

Oh dear god that made me howl! I have images in my head. Sheep are so mischievous! Benjy sounds like a character! xx
