I thank the person who invented hats today, for the first time ever my pony decided to be very spooky today (not good when you aren't very confident), maybe due to certain things maybe not... Still I really am glad I wore a hat today as I landed on my head sideways and carried on skidding.

And I was on a soft surface, in a school he is used to and is generally a very sane 5 year old. But it just proves that it is better to be safe than sorry!

Obviously hat wearing at home is people's personal preference.

Not too bad, neck, shoulder, bum (don't know how THAT happened) and hip is grazed but living and I got back on. Went for a canter in the field which picked me up a bit as I didn't have to worry about stuff jumping out at me

It just goes to show me that I will always pick safety over looks
