I have just had a really good look at Phoebe Buckley's website and I am really impressed, particularly with her handling of her horse Flash Gordon who is extremely cold-backed. She has to spend an hour tacking him up and making a fuss of him before she can get on, and then he is often still extremely naughty and it takes him a long time to work in. Very few people could get to the point where he works properly, and boy is it worth it as the pictures of him show!! I was just so impressed with her handling of all her horses and how lovely she is. She explains everything she does really well on her website. A Brilliant example of a professional rider :)

Sorry for the completely pointless post, but if you have some time, take a look.

I took a look at Phoebe's website earlier today and really enjoyed it.

She comes across as a really nice person and obviously love her horses.

I too looked at phoebe's website, and was very impressed, what a lovely person. It just proved to me that you dont need bags of money to do well in a sport just a talent and a good eye! She rides really well and I think this shows in the sometimes 'tricky' horses she takes on which she does well on.
Well done Phoebe and thank you for being somewhat of an inspiration to me!

i think she is ACE! she's had to work SO hard to get where she is. i know all the other top riders have to work hard too, but i do think she is an excellent example of hard work + talent. she wasn't born with the horsey equivilent of a silver spoon in her mouth, and i think she deserves all the success she gets. go phoebe!

I find her very inspiring also and try and picture her in my
mind when I'm attempting to ride! I also really like her attitude with her horses. If you've got a few mins have a look on her website at the videos of little tiger at lumuhlen, it's so funny when she is stealing all the fruit! Xx

I feel very inspired by Phoebe. I think the way she handles her horses - particularly the difficult ones and rides is a fine example to aspiring eventers. She is a brilliant definition of what a role model should be. She defies the incorrect stereotype that you need loads of money and to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth with parents that are only too happy to provide a string of expensive horses and ponies to go out and be a successful rider. I hope she has a long and happy career as an eventer because she truly deserves it.

I'm pretty sure she is just as nice in real life, my friend took a super photo of Hillocks Black Jack at Chatsworth and subsequently emailed it to Phoebe.
Phoebe sent her a lovely emai thanking her and even credited and thanked my friend underneath the photo on her web site. How lovely is that.:)

I was really impressed by her and her handling of the horse in the water jump thread earlier on today. A credit to her profession, well done Phoebe.

It's funny that you started this post as I came across her website
yesterday - and I too was very impressed with the site in general.
I loved the video from when she went to Doncaster Sales - I haven't got round to watching any others yet - apart from the how not to jump into water one, very well handled I thought.

I tpoo recently came across this webdite and really enjoyed it!
A lot of time and effort seems to have gone into it.
I really like the way phoebe rides and handles her horses, she really is an inspiration to me.

I found her website a few days ago and have spent hours on there watching the videos. She really is an amazing rider and i love the way she treats her horses. She has given me alot to think about with my tb and i've actually changed the way i ride him which is already making a huge difference.
