This is slightly belated (last weekend in fact) as I just haven't got round to doing a report.
Phoenix toddled off to her 2nd ever competition to Moreton Morrell only 9 weeks after being broken in.
She warmed up fab for the first test and did a really really nice test! Second test she lost her concentration as she had all of 2 minutes warm up...............the warm up was a disgrace! There were around 15+ in a 25 x 60 arena, this would have been fine if some of them hadn't been numpties, not looking where they were going, and there were even people leading horses around in headcollars!?!?!?! WTF!??!!? So anyway instead of risking getting her run in too and giving her a bad experience we took her out.
Anyway super star pony only went and.........
WON the first test with 71.30% (out of 8)
and despite lack of warm up still managed to score 68.20% in other test to come 4th (out of 12)
So that's 2 x 1sts, 1 x 2nd and a 4th in only two ever outings! So chuffed with her!
Next we're going to Vale View next weekend, bit further for us but she is contending the 4yo Pony Dressage Championships in September there.
