Phone hand free kit for the horse lorry?

I realise this is not strictly competition riders but thought someone might have some advice. :D

I often go out and about on my own and often my phone goes just to find out how far I am from home and if I am ok. As I cant drive and answer at the same time its often not easy to pull up so I was thinking of getting a hand free kit fitted. Does anyone have anything like this in there lorry? My lorry has a cut through and wondered if this would affect the back ground noise.

Please note before you all strike me down in flames this is for quick phone calls!!!

Unfortunately I am yet to train my Jack Russell terrier to take me calls!! :) :)

Does your phone have bluetooth? I just have a little bluetooth headset that I pair up with my phone before I set off and stick it in my ear. Can then just press the button on the side of it to answer any calls that come in while I'm driving.

Got to be cheaper/easier than installing one into the lorry itself and should mean less background noise? (plus you can use it in other cars too!)
 
Im just not very good at remembering things and I don’t think I would be very good at charging it up etc. It might be at risk of getting eaten by the Jack Russel. That’s why I though something more permanent would be good idea, my car has in built handsfree and love it! Thank you though that might be a cheaper option :D
 
Ah, see mine has cigarette lighter charger (which lives in my glovebox!) and the headset itself lives in the side pocket on the driver's door! So can't be forgotten. ;)

Maybe someone can help with the built in phone system in lorry question then, afraid I've no idea on that.
 
I had to buy a new stereo for the lorry - so got one with bluetooth built in, very handy as it automatically turns the music off for a call

The downside is that the microphone isn't that good, and whilst I can hear the caller they cannot hear me very well over the lorry noise!! :D

Bluetooth headset is superior
