Sweden is noted for the very high standards of road safety, particularly the cutting edge safety technology found in Volvo cars and laws about having sidelights always on.

While visiting Sweden I saw the Malmo horse show (FEI World Cup eventing and Swedish Eventing Championships). Well organised event in a city park!

Anyway, I took a look at the horsebox park, and here is a photo for the day box area:

Spot the large 4x4!!

Saloons and estates are perfectly safe as far as Swedish horse people are concerned.

Well, that would be just lovely if the stupid, idiot government would let us tow with anything other than a tank. I don't want a big 4x4. I have absolutely no choice when I want to take out both my horses once I pass my test. My horses weigh over a tonne and so does the trailer so I have to have a disco or something equally huge. Sigh.

looks like an outing of the bottom rung of the pony club they must have
exported all the scania and volvo truck chassis over here... however you will possibly find the tax on a safe tow vehicle is even more outragous than we pay and not any
desire to skimp on safety...

my guess is they are hauling one horse which would be ok with a big estate
if you dont want a big tow vehicle maybe you should swap horses for sec a ponies then you could tow with a small foo foo girly car like a 3 series bmw!!! :D
