Photo overload- a Hopalong ACTION update! :D :D :D

Again, thank you to everyone who has replied and is sending non-hopping vibes for vet visit! :) (and complimenting Mr FJ photos too... although we will need to watch his head doesn't expand too much...! ;) He's had far too easy a summer this year, need to hope I make him work harder next year! :p )

Awwww I am soooooo jealous, always wanted to play on the beach!! She looks awesome, so pleased she is feeling better and u are out enjoying yourselves :-)) hope she keeps up the good work

It was one of the things I always dreamed of doing before I got my own horse and then transport... I am very lucky. :)

We have local llama issues too, he tends to run at the fence spitting ;)

HS1 hint, I use a strip of sticky velcro (the hook side ;)) stuck to the hat and then that grips the silk :). My new one is slightly better than the old one but still a bit rubbish at keeping silks on!

Oh gosh, I think spitting would have tipped her over the edge! The trotting along beside us (well.. about 20m away!) was bad enough! Great tip on the HS1/hat silk issue, thanks! :D

She is looking fab love all the photos but the one with the wee one on top is my fave :D

Very jealous of that beach and indeed the Scottish HHO beach party!

Piggy still isn't over her llama drama so she considers H very brave ;)

Poor Piggy and Hopalong can form an llama drama support group?! ;) Hopalong is quite clever and seems to know who needs more looking after than others, she would most likely have been absolutely fine off leadrope. It's funny/amazing how animals can pick up on stuff like that? :)

awwww you're making me miss riding on the beach! haven't been for a swim for years now :(

Thanks, although FlyingCoo made me promise no (unintentional!) swimming! ;) (I'm not sure either Hopalong or me would have been brave enough to go intentional swimming either...!) Have to admit the presence of Mr FigJam waiting for a big splash gives you much more incentive to stay onboard! :p

Woohooooo!

Thank you for the fantastic company - even if you and Hopalong made M and I eat dirt! :D

She's looking (and obviously feeling) wonderful and is a real credit to you. M and I have everything crossed that she gets the all clear so more pony play dates can be organised. Loving the idea of a HHO meet up at the beach too.

Can't you all see how much Hopalong resembles a pure TB?! ;) In her head she is anyway... she lurves to gallop! :D Thank you again for your company and I also hope we will be combining forces at pony parties soon. :D

I love the photos of you and M- she was having as good a time as H. :D And poor Dug being confuddled by the "wrong" coloured pony!

what a fab day you had! Lucky :D And may I have some of that food you made? It looks gorg!! Im starving here and wish i was able to cook something decent for once :D love the egg box too ;)

Afraid cake doesn't hang around long in this house...! :p

I got around half way through you're post and thought this Lady needs a blog and then i saw you already do! You're writting style is fabb and so are these pictures im sure you shall cherrish forever!!!

Aw, thank you. I start typing and then forget to stop sometimes...! :o Have been very lazy with blog this year with her being out of work, but will do a round up and then try start it up again if it looks like she will get back to doing fun stuff again. :)

Is that the beach in Irvine by any chance?
hoping to take my boy there once we get transport

Not Irvine, other side of the country in East Lothian I'm afraid. :)

Ha ha DUG he was very confused and not sure whether he should have be falling people on foot or horses!! :D

Sadly no photos of Dug doing his disappearing magic trick into the big puddle! Mr FigJam was still giggling about that on the way home, poor Dug!
