None of the pic's are up yet though.

We had a v v spooky test and therefore v tense, but the canter work was better, 59.7% which pretty much summed the trot work up!!!
Yesterday at Hastingwood the surface was pretty poor due to the rain from Saturday night but we got some excellent marks so I'm really pleased, 65.2% 3rd and 69% 4th... as you can tell from the placings there were some pretty spectacular horses there - all having a little outing before the regionals!!!

Thanks Ifield, tou're a star

Thanks for that.
& well done for yesterday

I was there, as I took a friend who was doing the Elementary & your right there were some v nice horses there. Everyone was practicing the regionals tests!

Hastingwood scores sound good well done. You should have come over for Pimms at Wix - I think that was the best part of my day

Neil - if you are reading - we're all waiting for the photos!!!

You never did get your Pimms did you?!

Thoroughly enjoyable event - hopefully I didn't spook too many (you can blame me anyway, my back is broad!).

The photos will be on at some stage soon - it was a very long weekend!! Plus I've got a photo studio to run as well - can see some very late nights coming up

I think I needed something stronger than Pimms after 22 hours of photography

Thanks Neil, I'm looking forward to seeing them, I imagine you have hundreds to sort and put online. You didn't spook Patrick at all - the sunlight did that, talk about make an entrance into the arena everytime

Thanks for all your hard work!

I was going to come and find you as my friend Jo pointed out you arriving (she's at your yard) but my score wasn't great so thought i'd get him home for an early night!
Well done all though.....
I was hoping to go to HPF on 12th but have a hen night the night before... hmmm not sure dressage will be such a good idea!!
grin.gif

It's a difficult one as I have the option of taking my pony to a showing show just down the road from me (and the inhand classes are in the afternoon!!) even though I hate showing...
The OH is at golf that day, so I'll be driving and if HPF is in the morning i'm not sure I'll be legal to drive - especially with the trailer!!!
Am thinking of sending off an entry to Towerlands for next Wed though instead, is anyone else going?

Oh you should have come and said hello (I'm trying to work out who you are now
grin.gif
) I had a quick chat with Jo but didn't make the connection. My scores weren't great either but it would be good to see you at HPF if you can make it.

Thanks Bananaman, Neil has some fantastic shots on his website, there are some lovely ones of Finn McCoul in the Nov 22 as well.
The shampoo is Quiksilver - wonderful stuff (no I don't work for them!

) and minimum effort on my part.

FMC is 3 before the Appaloosa towards the end of Nov 22, there is a lovely one of her looking directly at the camera and smiling

What are my legs doing in those pics?!?!

Yes some long legs that are in the right position would be good please oh and if you could get some nice thin ones that would be even better! pmsl

Only if you were carrying a torch or miners lamp

Wix is dark enough when the sun is blazing down - by late afternoon it is virtually impossible to get any useable photos (believe me I've spent many an hour there trying!).
