photography subjects needed (glos)

Hello I am Will and I am a photographer based in Cheltenham and I am need of a "subject" for a project.

So...what’s it all about? Well I am looking for a Horse rider who will allow me to spend time photographing them on their day to day life of riding and caring for the horse.

The ideal situation...
Ideally I would like some one who has their horse in a stable, able to do most activities associated with horse riding, ie jumping, hacking etc, enters competitions and would allow me to go with them and be a "fly on the wall".

The person needs to be over 18, close to Cheltenham (Gloucestershire) and allow me to spend a fair few months tracking their progress with competitions and getting the right shots and return I will produce some great photographs.

Being a student of photography I can not pay for the time but will produce all photos for the rider and where possible produce some prints of the best shots for the rider to keep.

The reasons behind the project are two fold 1. to add experience of long term projects and therefore increase my working knowledge and 2. allow me to use the photographers for my portfolio to help me gain a place on a University course to further my training.

Shame they have to be over 18. My sister might have done it otherwise.

There are a fair few posters here that are Glos based with some lovely horses so you might get a positive response. Good luck

I would try local riding clubs think one close by would be Cheltenham and distict and they have a website.
