This is my beautiful new semi ferral fell pony who came this morning!

Anyone have any better names for him other then frank!?

Aww thanks hes lovely ! just cant get near him haha! he touched my hand 3 times and took hay from me twice in the space of 4 hours so not too bad! Hes so sweet!
 
oi there is absolutely nothing wrong with Frank :mad:

well I suppose mine is technically a Frankie but is more of a frank :p
 
LOL "the chain" was there whilst i was down sat outside his stable he does have a door im not stupid . hes not been handled until today so he is very well behaved considering

I agree, also the fact he's got a head collar on and will eat out of a haynet and bucket are all signs he's probably had something done with him so may progress quite quickly :). He's a lovely boy though and....showing my age....I like Spenser :D
 
He came with it on so just going to try get him used to been touched hes very nervous cant get too close he hides in the corner bless him
 
They come round v quickly, I use to do dartmoors stright off the moor and you will be surprised how quick they come around. He don't look like a typical wild one either seems happy and interested with ears pricks so prob just scared but been handled. Else he would be back turned away from you trying to hide.
 
its just so stange the farmer only started handling him 2 days ago to getthe headcollar on him and he's just so calm and interested but scared at the same time . He only hides in the corner if you get to close to him
 
he's a real cutie. I like frankie or homer :)

looks like he mayy be a brave boy and you may be able to gain his trust quite easily :) keep us updated on his progress!
 
I like Heathcliffe for a name , wild and off the fells.
Also Jet,Francis, Azzi [Francis of Assisi] Frankie, Beltane, Hero, Prince, Duke.
 
So cute!! I want to cuddle him! A great book to get would be 'No fear no force' By Sarah weston really great book for explainations and hints/tips of dealing with unhandled ponies!
