I'm not sure quite what happened but we went *rse over t*t. I tried to get up and couldn't. PF was checked by vet. She seems to have bitten her tongue as was bleeding from her mouth and may have broken a tooth, but vet didn't want to stress her out too much, whilst she was sore (but she is a bit of a sissy) She's eating and drinking fine, which was vet's main concern. She'll be checked out fully tomorrow.

Crumbs you took a horrid tumble, hope you get better and keep popping the painkillers, no point getting better in agony may as well do it happy on pain killers.
HOpe horse checks out alright with the vet tomorrow

Bloody hell .....very impressive!

Hope PF is ok and more to the point you are going to be so sore.

Three things...

Take the pain meds

Arnica Cream for the stunning brusing you will have

As soon as you can bear it get to a Physio (I didn't and got a frozen shoulder) Accupuncture really helps.

What a nasty fall, for both of you. That'll be you out of action for a while, sadly - don't go over-doing it will you - and I hope that PF has suffered any ill effects.
Do let us know how you go on, and what the vet says about PF. Get well soon xxxx

hope you get well soon and PF's tongue isn't too bad. Not much you can do when they get tangled up in the poles, looks like you kept your balance til she was on the ground which would have been best for her, shame it didn't help you stay injury free!
 
Ouch, that looks nasty. Hope you and PF both feel better soon. Agree with whoever suggested the arnica, wouldn't do any harm to give her some too as she may well be bruised.
 
Jesus PF you flew good and proper.. Hope you and horsey PF feel better soon.

Wow - what a fall - I hope you are not too sore and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

On a slight aside, did you notice in the first pic the audience had their attention all over the place, but by the second photo, all eyes were focused on you.

Hope that PF is not feeling too bad today - take it nice and easy and make sure you are full functioning before you get back in the saddle!
 
Ouch hunny! Looks like your baby was trying not to land on you looks sore as hell though, Good on you for sitting up hun most would lie on floor. once your healed i hope you will get back in saddle

Hi PF, massive gentle hugs to you. Oshk and I had almost an identical fall when I broke my face

Oshk landed a little more on his head that PF did, but he bit his tongue and broke a tooth. Hopefully PF's is not as bad as Oshk's as he was away in hospital for a few weeks but wishing you both a very speedy recovery. x
