haven't followed all of this but 4 days 'over' what time ?

My mares have all looked like that for 3 to 5 weeks !! - and foaling periods - 358, 359 and 360 days - all done by AI so covering dates absolutely defined....

So if you are 'only' on 346 days - you could be looking at another 2 weeks

She'll foal when she's ready - and that isn't now from your photos

Oh those sleepless nights - hehehe - but it'll all be worth it

No foalies for me this year - just 11 ewes to lamb and puppies due end March

That vulva is nowhere near foaling!! It's still quite tight & tidy looking. When she's near to foaling it will be really puffy, with the lips pushed out slightly.
Also I've yet to see a photo of her udder from behind with the crease completely gone!!!
Ditto AmyMay. She'll ahve it when she's ready. It's even possible that this awful weather has delayed things slightly.
 
Hi becky if the Sandra that replied to you is Sandra Low-mitchel from scotland she really knows what she's talking about as breeds loads. I've got a mare that is due on the 7th and a week ago sat she decided to tell us she wanted it and really looked like it the foal even moved up to be ready but then went back. I had a blood test done to check levels of everything and it looks like she stil not ready for few more days so i know how you feel with sleepless nights, i've had a cctv camera put in to make life easier. Lots of luck, she looks fab so try not to worry.

Good news... her udders are back up tonight and the liquid coming out of them has now turned into a more cloudy consistency. There is a lot of it squirting out, even when you just brush them slightly (I was using a soft brush to get rid of the mud), so have left well alone!

Another night in the caravan is ahead...

Her vulva is also parted tonight, you can see a pinky bit now like she is pouting.
 
Thanks... I know she has a bit to go but I don't think it will be too long because she is huge, very uncomfortable and is not sleeping at night at all (a bit like me

). She has HUGE swellings in front of her udders tonight all the way to half way up her belly which were not that big this afternoon at 1.30pm. I should hve taken a picture...
