Crikey! I have a morbid fasination with injuries like that as I think that the healing ability of the body is amazing. That injury is horrendous and your horse was very luck not to have been PTS. I take it that the white is the bone?

I'm with other's and say could we please see a picture of the finished healed leg! Thanks

Wow, that is horrific. Almost as bad as a mare I knew who cracked her head in a horsebox and half her scalp was missing.

I am so glad your horse recovered and that he has a kind and loving owner in you.

The Glasgow Vet School saved my horse too.
