I know this is slightly opposite to the photos of clean shiney photos we see on this forum but I recently visited the blue cross and one of the ponies there I liked is the complete opposite to anything I would normally go for- small, hairy & coloured with more white than colour & a pink nose. I have a chestnut gelding with flaxen mane/tail & white/flaxen socks that gets cleaned/washed every few weeks & I'm wondering if I could cope with the upkeep of something with many many more times light bits or just having a dirty horse.
So just how bad is it having a permanently dirty horse, photos please?
