My horse has photosensitivity on his white socks, he's my first horse and i've never come across this kind of problem before. I've been keeping him in fly boots but I'm wondering if I need a fly rug to protect his whole body from UV? Or just the boots on his white legs?
Would also love any tips/tricks on how to heal and prevent this!
Open for any advice, thankyou!

Mine gets terrible photosensitivity on his white socks but I've kept it at bay this year with Flitabac- it's the only cream I've found that actually works. I have got him a pair of Silver Whinnies socks too which have been very helpful in the past for helping it to heal, though they are a bit of a pain to get on and off and to keep from slipping down.
