I have found that I'm using more and more British terms now days due to reading H&H and these forums. Recently I told a coworker that I had placed something in the wheely bin. She had no idea of what I was talking about. And then I told another coworker that something was in the queue. Again no idea! I'm having fun confusing people.

Even in the USA, there are regions that use what are generally considere "British" words (such as "pop" instead of the more usual "soda"), and in computing the word "queue" is used for jobs sent to a shared printer (I suppose that this is to differentiate a "queue" from a "line" which could be interpreted as a cable)
