My tb has all of a sudden got really resistant in his canter doesn't want to go forward ,puts in some bucks and just generally not a happy camper. My normal vet is away for a couple of weeks so I want to try and get him seen by somebody in the meanwhile. I would have another vet but my current one knows all his quirks and has been the only vet to deal with him since I bought him. Teeth have been checked and are good, saddle has been checked ,flocking changed slightly and saddler is now looking for a new one for me as although current saddle isn't a bad fit she thinks there are other brands out there that would suit him more (big moving, high withered and long backed) Any recommendations would be much appreciated

I'd recommend Tessa Dorrington. My horse used to be treated by Gill Maybury, but had an extreme reaction to the machine she uses (like a tens machine - not sure what it is actually called) My vet recommended I try Tessa as she is totally hands on and doesn't use any gadgets. Both are McTimoney Chiro's and both came highly recommended by my vets.
