Physio North West

Can anyone recommend me a good equine physio in the north west who can come out on short notice to give my boy a full work up? We are having problems with his trotwork particulary on the right rein where when asked to work properly in trot he instead goes into a very collected canter. this has never happened before and he feels comfortable in walk and canter but awkward and unbalanced in his trot work. In trot he is ever so slightly unlevel on a circle on the right rein only. Vet nor farrier can find any abnormalities. any ideas?

Has your vet no referred you to a physio, i was under the impression that a physio could not attend unless referred.

Might be worth a call to your vets and ask them who they use.

Where about in the North West are you?
I can recommend a Lancashire one.
She will contact your vet prior to seeing you to get a clinical history, she asks your permission to do this.

Laura at Equiflexion is excellent, she is Chester based. She will need permission from your vets to look at your horse though

I can recommend one in Cheshire/ Derbyshire, but she works through vet referrals. Whereabouts are you based?

My vote is for Annabel Roberts too. Very good and doesn't insist the horse needs multiple follow-up visits!
