*PIC OVERLOAD!!* First Trip to the Beach!

Sorry idulgent post!

took my girl to the beach for the first time yesterday, also our first in our first trailer! was a fantastic day. She was super happy to be out (as was I!) There were trains, barking dogs and lots of hussle and bussle but she was fazed by nothing and even waited patiently in her wee trailer while we went to grad a McDs on the way home! So proud of her. Here she is, my 17 years young Belgian Sporthorse

Also can I just ask you guys for your unbiased opinions on her weight? I normally struggle to keep the weight off her and this year shes alot slimmer than usual for this time of year but I think she looks ok? (bare in mind she is naturally quite thick set!)

I haven't been to the beach yet, defo on the bucket list! What beach did you go to? Do you live far from it? I think it would take about 2 hours from here into Norfolk.

Thanks guys she was so happy to be out, ears pricked & striding out yes I felt very lucky. Actually said to my OH 'a few years ago I would have seen someone doing this & said that girl is do lucky!'

I'm glad you think her wright looks fine. It's hard to judge when you see your horse everyday!

Lovely pics,especially the 3rd one down-that's one for the wall I think her weight looks just right. (I wouldn't personally say she needed to get any slimmer,tho. She looks in good proportion and healthy as she is.)
We have a big Belgian WB on our yard and he is of a similar build to your girl but tends to hold his weight steady without much effort.
