NFU have changed my policy and its going to be no use to me AAAAARRRRGH!!!!!

I need a domestic policy that covers business use - but not me as a business/my own business - me as an employee using my car for business purposes if I have meetings off site.

NFU have changed my normal policy to a light goods one which no longer covers me to drive other cars, covers me only for my business (and I don't have one) and not for business trips as an employee at work.

Why, just why do they have to change things? The reason I took the insurance with them was because it was a normal car policy not a business policy ie like a works van.

Gits.

Anyone else out there who is a normal employee of an unrelated company that has normal insurance for a twin cab pick up? Who with and are they good?

Will ring NFU see if I can revert to what I had, otherwise I'll be annoyed as the nags and trailer and everything are insured through them.

to them!

I have an L200 Warrior and use Churchill. I have social, domestic and commuting to any place of work, be it where i'm permanently based or if i have to travel to one of our other sites or HO. And i was with the RAC before with the same on that policy. If you have a pick up i find its best to get on the phone to them rather than do it over the internet and they tailor it to what you need. Both have been good but chruchill gave a better quote this year.

I had a landrover freeland hard top back van, with no rear seats. i was able to insure through Direct line as a van, but was able to use it in connection with my work, plus the premiums were lower than NFU.

We use Equity Red star, as above really, social domestic, commuting and business for a Navara. No probs, competitive pricing

we use more than - we have to ring through to more than commercial but aren't registered as a business or anything

I have a Mercedes sprinter and had a nightmare trying to find an insurance company that would cover it for normal use (ie not business vehicle). I have it through CIS and it's very good value. They do cover private with business use (ie business trips as an employee).

My L200 is insured with Priviledge, it was by far the cheapest when I looked around initially and has remained competitive as long as I ring each year!
