Pickle is home!!!

LOL thanks for your reassurance!!

Any time! Pop her in her crate for a while and settle in to watch some T.V. After all, you've had a long day. If she's quiet it's not because she's been lifted. Honest. She's just settled in and is having herself a nap...... No need to check on her. Really. Promise.

Seriously though she is gorgeous. Hope you and OH have a fab time snuggling her and watching her grow up. Just don't forget..... we need many pics! :)

:O) shame you are not closer, you could come round for a cuddle......supervised of course ;O) xx

*mutters* why do they always insist on supervision?! Defeats the whole darn point! *mutter mutter*

Think yourself lucky, if I were closer, I may actually be in the bushes outside for real :D:p

Awwwwww she's so cute!!!! Hmmmmm...Pixel could use a little matching friend ;)

Hehe

The fun is just beginning!!! :D

(p.s if you think you're paranoid about her...Pixel has CCTV on her cage which is linked up to the tv in our room :O!!! So if I'm worried about her can check she's okay without disturbing her!!!! :D I know, I've lost all respect from you guys :D :P)

Awww, huge congratulations for her safe arrival, I bet you can't believe she's finally here!!! :D

We were very lucky when we first got Ruby, we can't hear the kitchen from our bedroom so weren't tormented by any whining although my OH did loiter on the second night and said she whined for about about 5 mins and then nothing.

I know that spangles are particularly vocal dogs so all the while she gets a reaction to her whining, she will continue it. You are going to have to grit your teeth and develop a steely determination over the next few weeks to set some boundaries or she will have you wrapped around her little paw. Remember the saying "firm but fair" ;)

Sleep well!!! lol

Seriously?! Wow!

I know that spangles are particularly vocal dogs

I've only just found that out! The first two were/are silent-don't bark, whine etc, none of that.

The current pups whine, do the big yawn that ends in a weird whine thing. If Zak wants something, he whines for it, if he's frustrated that Bear won't give him his tripe/toy/attention, he whines. Very vocal, very odd!

Pickle does that funny noise at the end of a yawn, very cute. She is currently running full pelt through the lounge to the kitchen and back again squeeking as she goes!!! She also gets trasfixed by the tv, very cute indeed

My two were very obsessed with the TV until recently. Bear's new obsession is staring at shadows and putting his head into the recessed shelf unit. Weirdo!:D

When I had my GSD I slept downstairs with him for a week cos my other dog didn't like him much, he wanted to snuggle into her and she was having none of it !

He was a mummy's boy ! my husband used to like to lead him and me the smaller dog, but if he was in front he spent the whole time with his head turned back looking at me, in the end we used to swap dogs

Yay she's home! Hope you all slept well! :D the first couple fo nights are the hardest when you want to reassure them but know you shouldn't.

The pic of Pickle in the garden is fab - what a sweetie!

I think you should send her to me, I will train her for you **ahem ahem**:D

I'll let you have her back when she's done, honest... although of course, training is a lifelong process...:p

Have been following your updates and am loving these pics of her, she is absolutely gorgeous. Make the most of her whilst she's this cute, it seems like only yesterday we collected Chloe and she's now 10 months old,I cant believe how quickly it has gone!! Re the crate, Chloe had one for the first few weeks and I carried it upstairs at bedtime and downstairs for daytime, left it open downstairs all the time and she would wander in to sleep, away from the older 2 dogs. At bedtime after her last wee break I would carry her up to bed, pop her in and cover with a blanket (the crate, not her!!) and she would fall asleep really quickly. It worked really well. she liked her little safe haven with her collection of toys and bed in it, hopefully Pickle is settling into hers by now. Our crate is now in the back of the car and is still big enough to travel her in, I had never used a crate before but am a total convert. Keep the pics coming x

Unfortunatley we had another really bad night last night, she cried all night long :O( I had to leave her this morning to go and do my horse so left the radio on, a light on and left her uncovered. When I got back she would sound asleep so not sure if that was exhaustion or she preferred it. I will find out in a little while as I've got to go and ride so she will be home for an hour or so and will do the same.

She is just so damn cute though and asked to go out in the garden to do her business last night, I think she is also starting to recognise her name :O)

Fingers crossed for this afternoon

I'll let you know :O)
