Picnic avoidance at the beach - a cunning plan.....

Spudlet and Hen - I have a cunning plan to avoid any stealth raids on unsuspecting peeps having a picnic on the beach tomorrow!!

We take our own picnic and go to where there is no else - simples!!

Otto is under strict instructions NOT to be a grumpy possesive hound, however I can only apologise in advance if he decides to be macho and I have to bellow at him!

My friend had a phone call once, they asked if she had a retriever and she said yes, they said could she come and get him he was at a wake and wanted some sandwiches, she was so embarressed going to collect him, he was there, like oh yeh party time

He'll be a big jessy as long as there is nothing he wants and even more of a wimp if one of the dogs tell him off first! My Dad's youngest, wimpiest Cocker tells him off fairly regularly now, Otto grovels at his feet

I am getting pretty good at spotting the warning signs and he is getting better at recognising my no-messing voice So hopefully we will have no incidences

Henry has some previous form for picnic raiding unfortunately! I am very good at spotting them from a great distance these days

Rocky Road is chilling in the fridge, along with some Chicken Drumsticks marinating and I have some Cheese and Onion Kettle Chips.

Otto is bringing a chilled bottle of Evian and may scrounge some Chicken

I shall be purchasing picnic-y food, and will hard-boil some of the lovely free-range eggs my gundog trainer gave to me yesterday!

I have some strawberries, fruit juice, Red Sky crisps, and assorted sandwiches!

I have a picnic water bowl so the mutts will be catered for!!
