I love Skye - my old spaniel spent most of the week chasing seagulls up and down Broadford beach She went looking for them when we went back the next year as well......

its doggy paradise up here! we just have to find isolated spots for her to enjoy it off lead!

We stayed in a really lovely little crofters cottage on the beach - the garden had a stile on to the beach for a quick exit to get those pesky gulls

Hmmmm....I think it was a couple down from a pub but Claymore seems to ring a bell it was a few years ago now.......there was a croft that was a gallery and i think the artist was called Duncan - the cottage we stayed in was next to his parents

ha ha! yeah i know where you were! there are quite a few holliday cottages along the front. if im right then you were probably sandwiched nicely in between the claymore and the dunollie (crowlin bar)

The next time we went we stayed in the Neist Point lighthouse - was awesome! Is it still a B&B?

i couldn't tell you i'm afraid! i've never made it to Neist point yet... and i'm born and bred!

its always the same- every summer i work my backside off between my normal job, plus working in a hotel... the tourists have seen more than me! im too busy working to get about much when the weather is good enough! im working my way round slowly though!

Thats a shame if it is derlict mind you it is so remote it would quickly look like it was uncared for It was fairly basic accommodation but I just loved how remote it was and the seals on the rocks etc
