Had another good albeit soggy day at Little Downham. Horse is very capable, shame about rider!!!

I have started a new blog for my various equine ramblings so please view the pictures and mini report here - http://oldgreygelding.tumblr.com

Blog so called as that was what Pete was referred to when I went to buy him as a £200 broken down flat racer. For all his sins he is quite special!

I did think the xc was really technical there at the weekend - not much big or intimidating but lots of questions all the way through.

Well done i went before you in the sj and xc on the bay horse, and thought the xc was technical ! and the sj very slippy. The sunday was defiantly the better day. We went back to fence judge on the monday and got soaked again..

hello bay horse lady! Well done in your rounds - nice double clear! I was fuming before the SJ, boyfriend disappeared back to the lorry for the entire duration of the SJ course walk so I went in pretty much blind to the related distances having not walked them, or got a chance to watch a few jump. Fortunately I had at least put the worlds biggest studs in, so we were staying upright if nothing else. Did feel gluey to jump out of that ground as well. Obviously all beautifully dried out by Saturday. That said, the BE100 section G on sunday had 13 clears xc, 10 with faults and 6 retired/eliminated so definitely was technical.

Is that your season finished or are you fitting in one more?

I sore tina on the monday and she said that it caused lots of problems on the sunday ! must have been all the nasty narrow ones. We hardly ever get double clears so was a nice surprise in such horrible weather, we are entered but on the wait list for Oasby and entered for norton disney, how about you ? SJ course walk sound something like my mother would do if i don't keep an eye on her she just wonders off forever ! x

Not read one of your reports before but love your boy, he's gorgeous!! Well done for your day, the weather looked horrendous!
