Housemate found this little mite yesterday in a not to great area of town. Chipped but not registered. RSPCA didn't want to know and literally just scanned him for a chip :(

Dog warden has been out, taken photos etc but no one has reported him missing and they will have to come through us and her if they do come forward. After 8 days he becomes ours which I have no problem with.

He's approx 3 months old according to my vet (she squeezed us in between appointments yesterday but he's back tomorrow for a full check up), covered in scars, some very old :( Very friendly and my three love him, especially Tia who keeps cuddling him....I've never known her so quiet!!

He's on 4 meals a day of chicken/fish and rice, will pop him on puppy food once vet advises it.

Oh little Murphy. How lucky you are that Annette4 has taken you in. Things will get better from now on! I hope that Annette does get to give you your forever home!

Thank goodness your friend stopped and picked him up, he does look a poor little chap:( I do hope no one claims him and that he stays with you (sorry oh :D) Is he a staffy x ? Looks as if life has taken a turn for the better for him. Look forward to updates and more pics.

Well done for taking him in and I hope no one claims him, its people like you that restores my faith in human nature. He looks lovely and he has had a rotten start but if he stays with you his life will definately get better. No wonder the RSPCA were not interested, Staffies,Mastiffs and American Bulldogs are all dogs they dont want.

Annette is this what you meant by your cryptic post of yesterday?.
