Indiana!

Not great pics, hopefully will get some better ones today when she goes out later on.

Her breeding is:
Mum's sire Diamond Rock (GS King of Diamonds), MGS Trombone.
Sire is Alme Des Nids, By Alme, out of Nelson Pessoas great showjumper Queen Des Nids.

So Indiana is also Marcolas G's half sister

Your broodmare is by the same sire as one of my broodmares, If you ever want to find a new home for her, please give me a ring (I am serious), I love Diamond Rock

At last!!!!

You must be soo pleased after the long wait! I bet you had a good long sleep after she finally appeared. Must keep us updated with pics as she fills out.

Have you decided now on mum’s 2008 hubby????

Well done JH58, You must be so relieved to be able to 'move out' of the Saxo, LOL!!! it took me back when I read that 'cos my mare 9years ago decided that she liked the entertainment value of me in a sleeping bag in a small Toyota Corolla for a few nights! Typically waited 'til I got so knackered that I shot off home for 2 hrs kip in a bed then she pushed the foal out quick! When I came back, foalie was on her feet, bless. Mare had obviously decided her privacy was paramount but as she did so well on her own without my help I didn't mind a bit x

Ah thank you, I think she is gorgeous but I know I am bias!

Cruiseline, that's amazing! I have only seen a couple of his progeny but liked everything I saw. Yes she is chestnut although very dark, almost liver with lots of black spots, Indie looks like she will be lighter than her mum.

I'm afraid she's not going anywhere but so lovely of you to say that, she is my absolute pride and joy! Her full sister who is 2 yrs younger and Grade A was for sale a year ago, I'll keep an ear out for you

Hi Eventrider,

I have almost definitely decided to leave her this year and start again next year. The birth was OK but if I hadn't had been there I'm sure she would have been a dummy foal as it wasn't quick enough. Plus she was heading upwards in the birth canal, so I had to reach in and pull her downwards, otherwise I wouldn't have been surprised if she would have put a foot through...

Also I really want to find the right stallion for her and size seems to be limiting my choice so much I think it will take time to find him! Saying that, if I could have Alme Des Nids semen sent to be she would defo be going back to him this year, but alas I can't and it's his last season

So we'll see, but obviously right now her and Indie are my top priorities

LOL Zipzap, I had been in there so long and so used to sleeping scrunched up that I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep in my bed!! Luckily that didn't happen and I was out like a light!
