I HATE snow with a passion! Not pleased to find a dumping of the stuff making my trip to feed the ponies this morning hazardous. I left my car at our local village hall and walked up the snow/icy hill and onwards.

This view greeted me as I walked along the footpath

On my way back I found one of the "architects of the forest" helping herself to a good source of protein

I wouldn't mind the snow back... We have the horrid ice snow here. Snow has been lying for days is now iced over... It's -8 and it's not looking likely to let up! *Sigh* even the arena is solid. :(

I hope we don't get any more :(

We had loads at the back end of last week that has frozen over and isn't blimmin melting.

Those piccies look lovely.

We only had about 2 cm here and it's pretty much all gone now. Just sooooo boring, we never, ever get much here any more.

I'm a bit jealous. I love the snow and with my Landrover I do feel a bit smug driving all the way to the yard when others have to stop at the bottom of the hill and walk up. I do offer a lift if I see them, honest!

Can't beat a defender when the weather is snowy .

Lovely pics - we finally had a covering of snow here last night, but its pretty much gone now.

Pics taken weren't that far away from you!!! I couldn't have made it up the hill anyway as the school bus had broken down and a lorry had apparently crashed into it.

I am glad its nearly gone now as I was able to do most of the poo picking this afternoon, hate doing double the next day or however long it takes for the wretched stuff to disappear.

For those longing for snow I'll make sure I re-direct it in future. Just let me know your postcode and you can have it with bells on too!! ;)

How kind!! A tiny covering in London this morning which melted pretty quick. None required in Surrey thank you, my horse's yard is at the top of a VERY steep hill and I have a very cr@p car!

Still snowy here up on Ilkley moor. Track to the horses still very icy but with snow/mud tyres on the car I can get up the hill easily. Never believed all the hype about snow tyres but after having them on now for 2 weeks I think they are fantastic. Take care out there everyone x

When I turned up this morning, the boys were all at the far side of the field, eating trees, just like your pic. It took them ages to work out I'd brought hay. They normally fend for themselves and had no expectation, bless.
