He looks lovely. Looks like he likes to jump!!! How funny we have both posted a post with the same name this afternoon, think we did it at the same time!!! LOL.

What a gorgeous big hunk of a chunk of a boy!

I love his face in the second pic - more interested in the camera than the jump there methinks :D

He looks really sweet, but I know why someone has asked about the draw reins. TBH you aren't going to achieve improved topline using them on him as he isn't working into them correctly.

You will be far better off lengthening your rein and encoraging him to work into the contact. try also a little lunging with loose sidereins and over totting poles.

I have to say though he looks a little uncomfortable in the pics - tense and ears back. has he had teeth, back and tack checked? might be a reason for him not working over his back correctly. Just a thought.

Once he's going nice I'm sure he'll look absolutely super!

That's a pic from when she very 1st got him and he's working very well now.
Annoys me the way everyones first reaction to a pic of someones horse is 'oh you should get the dentist/vet/backman/farrier and my uncle Dave out to check him coz something doesn't look right'

Sorry not meaning to have a go but its been on my chest for a while..... Can you tell haha

why does it annoy you? there was no need for that

It was just my opinion that the horse looked uncomfortable and it was a mere sugestion that if he wasn't going well there could be a reason behind it and drawreins weren't necessarily the solution. Sometimes people (especially those heavily involved with the hosre) don't see a problem that for others is obvious. been there done that.

Thanks 4 faults :)

Yeh these pics were from when he very first came he had been out for work for over 3 years. Hes going much better now :D just need someone to be on hand with the camera lol. never anyone about now as im down around lunch time to ride
