So I finally managed to get the pictures of my boys first show jumping attempt. Only a clear round which he did and first time as well. He's 7 but I have taken my time with him as he is a bit of a scardy cat! Was very proud if him as he had never seen fillers of proper wings before :-)

Please excuse the bad riding it was my first jumping course in about 20 years and I was a little nervous!

Thank you all.

He is my baby boy, know him since he was not quite 1, only recently started to let others ride him.

He hates hitting poles which is why I did such small jumps. He can do 1 meter at home but they won't jump up and bite him! He is very honest as well you can feel when he is worried and after a boot he just does it. But he is always excited when he sees jumps, so I know he enjoys it :-)

you seem to have photo shopped out a top pole! he's gorgeous and what a cracking jump :) I bet he will mature quicker than you think with a few more outings and getting used to it all. He did brilliant for his first time

He has such a beautiful colouring and face marking! Very very unique! And such scope he has too! Anyone would think hes done it before, but a couple of poles higher! :)

What bad riding OP? I see a sympathetic rider going nicely with a horse that is rather overjumping. Not many people can manage the ping effect comfortably. He is certainly showing promise, even if he is a late starter. Keep on taking your time with him.
