He was born at 2215 on wednesday night. We missed his birth literally by minutes as when we arrived he was still in the bad with his head poking out and mum had just started licking him. She did so well as she is a 17 year old maiden. He gave us a sleepless night though as he took a long time to stand and feed and megan had a retained placenta so we ended up with the vet out at 5 am to the pair of them. By 9 am though they were both absolutely fine. We still don't have a name for him, my husband wants Angus for a stable name but I have absolutely no idea about his Show name so we are open to any suggestions.

Thanks for all your lovely comments.
Simsar, it is nice living up here but it has its draw backs as where i am we are 1 1/2hours from any good sized towns or anything on the other hand the countryside is beautiful even if i do say so myself.

He looks lovely and will have a delightful temperamnet I'm sure.

tmsmorgan, being purely nosey who is your stallion? I currently have an Englishman mare (with Primitive Proposal filly) and a Monte Carlo one (with Don Ricoss colt). You may work out that I'm not a million miles away from Penny at Freckleton!!!!
