Finally got some pictures with me aboad my 5yo so just thought id see what people think. I had him a year ago as a project to bring on but he has taken a little longer than I anticipated.
When I bought him he had not really had much handling at all and from what I can make out had only really had proper handling when he got a bad foot abcyss, so he was very nervy of people. It took a good 6 months to get him to start to trust me and even stuff like rugging was a bit of a dilemma to him at the start.
When I first tried to back him he had me straight off shooting forward but second time round he let me onboard. Three weeks into training he tripped over and tore a muscle in his hindquarter which resulted in a couple of months off so had to start all over again. Since then he has really started to come on and is now the most affectionate horse I have he is very much a one person horse but it seems once he does trust you he really tries for you. So this is him - his name is Harley and he is an IDxTB (with a bit of cob in there somewhere) by Country Marksman.
Also just one of my 4yo as I love him. Been in work now about 5months but this is a picture of him about 6 weeks in - need to get some new pictures of him as I think he is changing quite quickly. He is a British warmblood by Negretto out of Atlantis mare.
