It is bailing twine,was not me lunging him that day though.
Someone who took him on for a bit once i got too fat preggers to ride was lunging him that day.
The only reason i like that pic is for his halt and how you can see his markings.

Although mouth wise he is always opening and messing about with his mouth hense why he has a flash.
He might look a little uncomfortable but he is more likely trying to get his tounge over the bit.
 
was not a short cut was a case of someone not taking long enough to look for the side reins.
Trust me he has never been lunged like that before or after that.
 
Well was not me who did it,i would never lunge a horse in twine,we have a shed full of equipment was someone been lazy.

He is bless him,he has good bloodlines though.

He is getting on now though still very talented all the same,wish i was still partnered with him makes me sad im not getting to compete his final year with him.
