Pictures - Ten days on Metformin (EMS/laminitis)

Those pictures are very interesting.
Mine is recovering from his 2nd minor lami attack this year. First time it was due to being overweight and gorging on spring grass. This time we think was due to new haylage as he isn't at all fat - in fact had to put him in his 'skinny' girth today, and he's not clipped yet. BUT I am not sure if he still has fat pads - I am going to have to investigate this properly.
However, farrier is suspicious of EMS or cushings. Both tests came back negative in May but I wonder if things can change that quick.

My mare tested negative last Dec to EMS but judging by her fat pads and the fact that they are disappearing on the metformin, I think she definitely has it.
