Piebalds... black or brown tack?

I'm aware the black vs brown thing has been done a million times over, but enlighten me: are piebalds an exception to the "brown is best" rule? Does anyone have any pics of black and white splodgies sporting brown tack?

Brown always for me For anything black/with black, I go for a dark brown colour.

My piebald wears brown to show at the moment. Dark brown sets off her black head.

It wouldn't have crossed my mind to put anything but black on. I don't like brown anyway tho lol
