I'll be oiling and sulphuring my horse up over the weekend as he's been out for a good few weeks now pretty much 24/7 and has lost alot of feather and showing signs of being uncomfortable. So i'm gonna brush off what i can then warm wash off the mud (which is predominantely on from his fetlock joints down) and then PO and S him up so the mud will hopefully not stick as much!
We've had a couple of good drying days of late, so hopefully minimal washing will be done and plaster the mix on and it will help stop the crappy mud from sticking
Once a fortnight - he comes in has all the wet mud sprayed off with the hose left in the stable for about 2 hours to dry then reapplied and chucked back out!
