Wouldn't it be great if there was such a thing for dogs, when the mud and water just slides off after a long walk and they're all nice and clean again?! Can't let them off anywhere for a good run without them getting covered in mud these past few weeks. Too cold and damp to leave them outside to dry off before brushing them, so it has to be another bath! Bring on either the frost or a bit of dry weather, please!!!

I so agree with you. You have voiced my thoughts. Only today I was wondering if there was anything at all I can do to stop the mud sticking to my dogs belly. He is a long coated BC and it is a total nightmare at the moment.

It is also becoming more and more difficult to find decent walks to go on. Everything around here is either flooded, extremely muddy or i can't get to the walk as the roads are closed due to flooding.

One of ours is a BC too! The other is a little terrier cross and the mud doesn't seem to stick to him so much. We can walk round the roads but its not much fun for them - we have miles of fields and walks directly from our back garden but the minute we step out there, its just muddy madness!

Due to an unfortunate scalping of my lawn ( lawn mower was stuck on shortest setting ) and the ridiculous amount of rain, I am really struggling with my 3 and the mud. A short comfort break and they need each paw wiped with a damp towel. A proper run around means a trip to the bath to wash off paws again and as for going up to the yard..it's driving me nuts and my 3 are short fine coated staffords!

Never mind the bloody dog, I ended up on my back in the mud twice today because of him :p he's getting chucked in the sea tomorrow. To wash the mud off him, not for revenge, obviously.....
