Hi, Just wondering if anyone can recommend a stockist in scotland as the last lot I got from ebay has ridiculous postage to where I live, the actual cost of postage is not bad and am happy to pay it or even slightly more but the sellers take nearly double the correct amount and it's just annoyed me slightly.

I use it mainly for his feathers but am starting to use it unshook ( the oil bit only) it on the uncontrollabe mane and tail, it knots so badly in the wind and have a real job keeping them in a half decent state. will try the heavy horse site though :D

I bought the combined version as I didn't realise you could get them seperate...you learn something new everyday... duh me!, on manes it does smell, so here goes for some oil shopping, lol

i live on the orkney isles so its gonna have to be posted wherever it comes from unfortunatley, but just dont want to be paying double the postage as in the ebay advert!

my dad swore by pig oil and sulphur for years.
i discovered a half bag of flours of sulphur at the back of the feed room last year so decided to use it again last winter. was great- washed legs, mane and tail at the begnning of winter, plastered in oil and sulphur (looks messy for a couple of days) then just reapplied fortnightly-ish. kept them spotless (mud just slid off in their straw bed on a night) and was great for my chapped/cracked hands aswell.

pig oil is just a mineral oil (not from pigs, as some people think!), without the extra irritants of baby oil and is a bit more viscous.

can also be used in summer as a drench for manes and tails to keep sweet itch at bay- the sulphur repels midges so stops them biting.

also to those that havent used it before, please please patch test as with all new "lotions & potions" have heard of some reactions on other forums
