Pigeon toed/Splay footed. Info please!

Can someone who knows what they're talking about please tell me the problems caused by a horse being pigeon toed or splay footed? I mean in terms of action and where extra strain is placed, that sort of thing. My Robert Oliver and Hazel Reed books disagree! I'd be very grateful.

You could post this question on the UKNHCP forum. Someone on there should be able to point you in the right direction.

I know Robert Bowker has done alot of research - but not sure of the specifics.

It's still worth asking your farrier though... He will know, and can probably point out and demonstrate with your own.
