Pigs Ears

A relation does hog roasts so when he removes the head I removed the ears then dry them out in the oven 80 degrees for four to five hours and they go crisp then store them in an airtight jar for I think it was 6 weeks or freeze. But this was before I fed raw, now on raw pips won't eat shop bought ones. snob but I guess pigs ears go very cheap. See if there is a hog roast guy about they prepare about four a week depending on the size of the business obviously, thats eight ears more than enough!

Petplanet do boxes of 50 snouts, ears or cow's ears. Very curious about the cow's ears but don't want to buy a whole box in case she doesn't eat them!

Good idea.

Yeah, I'd be interested in the cows' ears as they're lower in fat and Brig puts on weight far too easily but I'd be hacked off if I had 49 and a bit left cos he didn't like them! Unlikely, tho, as he is very into anything bar veg.

I've had the cows ears and my dog didn't like them as much as the pigs ones, although we don't give either to her anymore, I think she had a bad one and it upset her.

The cows ones are just like hide chews, light brown in colour
