Ive just returned from my local saddlers, {empty handed :p} they stock the pikeur range, i saw the most MUST HAVE jacket, i tried it on beautiful, BUT its £150.00 has any one else bought any of there jackets, how do they wash {im a dirty begger} and are they worth the money???

My Sister had a Pikeur jacket for a good 4 years? Worth every penny. Dry clean only....but doesn't pick up dirt at all, and looks fab with just a warm cloth wipe over.

We now both currently have the Pikeur Scarlett (short-jackets) and they are gorgeous. They fit beautifully, and I have trouble finding something long enough in the arms whilst being small enough everywhere else!

Sister has machine washable version, I have dry clean, boo hiss.

Would deffo recommend, worth the money!

Might be worth looking on ebay, you can often get a brand new/used under 5 times etc for half the price of ones in the shop!

Mine isn't dry clean only?

Well I hope it isn't just put it in the wash!

Fantastic jackets though, I love them! Also better for me as I got it for £25 off a friend :p

If it fitted really nicely then to be honest I would say it's worth the money. I do like their jackets but like you haven't really been able to justify buying one. However, I have a cheap old Dublin one (has done me fine) but I have lost a fair bit of weight since I bought it so I think it now looks daft and i want a new jacket - I would definitely look at Pikeur. However saying that I saw a very nice grey Caldene jacket the other (I thought it was Pikeur as was hanging amongst them). That was still over £100 though.

I think any decent jacket that fits well is going to cost a fair bit but if you are going to wear it regularly then you will be getting your moneys worth.
