Pikeur lugana prestige breeches?

I am purchasing pikeur breeches online but am not sure the difference in the fabrics. Can anyone tell me the difference between the normal high cotton fabric and the prestige microfibre 2000 material? Are they worth the extra? Thanks!

I can't find it online right now, but is the prestige material the weather resistant stuff? If so, it's really handy in this rainy country!
