Pikeur (or cavallo) winter breeches??

Am thinking of getting some winter breeches to keep my legs warm out riding in this horrible weather! But are they worth paying extra for, than say the normal laguna breeches? Anyone tried them?

No but got to say I swear by RTS bentex - you can but online from Germany they are very comfy and warm.

I have cavallo and pikeur breeches, and i find them very comfy and warm! But i have to admit the best breeches/jodpers I have are jean jodphers - they are waterproof and warm! Can't remember where I got them from though.

I have the new Pikeur winter weight breeches I hunt in them they are very good but very expensive £110 but I needed the beigh ones for hunting, but for everyday and hacking out I use the musto snugs they are warm and very comfortable and now I think they have gone down in price so you could get 2 pairs for the price of 1 I also went up a size and they come right up my back and I tuck my vest in and stay snug !!! excuse the PUN !!
