Pimp my trailer - saddle racks?

Ideas For trailer storage anyone?

Just found out our new saddles don't fit in the Ifor tack pack so I'm wondering how else to pimp up the trailer to store more stuff in there.

I have been thinking of putting in some bridle hooks in the nose, and maybe a rug rack above jockey door... And thinking about putting collapsable saddle rack in the nose too? Anyone done any of these? Any hints?
 
I had some rings put in so I can attachy Shires tack trolley to the front wall of the trailer below the window. I can wheel it in with 2 saddles, bridles and has two wire trays for boots etc and I attach it to the rings with bungies. Just need saddle covers so they do t get covered in hay if you feed hay on the move.
 
No, I don't put anything in the trailer but the horse. I did have a tackpack but gave it away as it's so cumbersome.

Maybe I'm too safety conscious...

All tack and gubbins' goes in the truck/car.
 
I wouldn't put anything in the front apart from a secured water carrier. I would be worried rack would be knocked off, chewed, covered with hay and scratched etc. plus it would interfere with horses head space too much. If I didn't share my trailer at all I would be tempted to fit a tack cupboard or rack and rug rail etc on the unused side. Would love to see if anyone has fitted external tack locker in this way.
 
There was a thread about this last week!

We have headcollars and leadropes in the nose, along with one water carrier. When going to pc camp we managed to bungee the mucking out tools there too. I wouldn't want tack in the trailer as it would get dirty. We have a double saddle rack that fits in the back of the car, and everything else goes under the saddles in really useful boxes.. Re rug rails. I would be inclined to hang a rope from front to rear of stalls, high up, and have rugs over that (so against the wall higher up, alongside the horse..).

Someone on the other thread reminded people that you shouldn't have too much weight in the jockey wheel area/nose.
 
Unfortunately it's for trips away with the horses for a few days - so must fit their fencing, feeds, hay, all tack, rugs, water containers, and our camping stuff, gazebo, chairs etc - and we just got a smaller 4x4 so we no longer have as much room so stuff will have to go in trailer. It will all be tied in properly though so it can't slip or go near the horses.

The boot is now so small that hay for weekends plus saddles and mucking out tools and empy water containers will have to go on the trailer somewhere, I own a million bungee cords I can secure them with, but think hooks and saddle racks would help. There is a lot of empty nose space in the Ifor 505s but I hadn't thought about nose weight (though what I want to put in is pretty light)


Or... What about putting saddle racks on the jockey door? Anyone done that?
