My JRT has recently (the last month or so) started pining for me when i go to school. she is three years old so is used to me going to school, and my mum works from home so she is never lonely. I am the one who feeds her, walks her and generally "fusses" her, as she is "my" dog. she doesnt leave my side when i am getting ready for school in the morning, then she sits at the front door and cries for up to an hour, then sits outside my bedroom door all day. she then sits at the door from about 3:30 untill i get home, and she has weed a handfull of times on the floor in the hall as she is so excited when i get home...! anything i can do to make her stop?

You need to try and get her used to spending time seperate from you even when you are at home......she is becoming very dependant of your company......hence the seperation anxiety.
Could someone else take turns in walking/playing and feeding her......could your mam possibly take a little time out in her day to take her for a walk.

When arriving home.....as harsh as it sounds you need to keep the greetings down to a minimal.....no praising or encouraging her to get excited.....this way she will not assosiate your entering the house as an overbearingly exciting experience.....hence the urination.
Upon entering the house.......walk passed her and get on with your normal routine..........maybe open the back door and allow her access to go to the toilet.....do not speak or touch her...........again when u open the door to let her in give her no attention.

When she fianlly settles without attention......give her a treat....something she can assosiate being rewarded for her calm behaviour......do not stroke or overpraise her though.

I would also hazzard at a guess that she sleeps in your room.......if so why not try an introduce her to her own bed/crate down stairs or out side your room........so she can get used to/become comfortable to spend periods of time by herself.......offer her treats like a kong filled with goodies and nice long lasting chews.

thanks for the tips, very useful! thing is, mum said before we bought her that if i wanted a dog i had to look after her all by myself, so looks like i've got some persuasion to do!

LOL, not at all.
What we really mean is we dont want to end up doing the animal if you get fed up of it.
Sure if you explain what is happening to your parents they will be more then happy to help out.
