WHAT? You reckon the horse, (that is Flo?) would actually like it?
LOL! You just click and enlarge that shocking pink (padded bridle) image of a horse's face in that link that Law put in, and check out the horse's expression! That says it all to me, tee hee
I am sorry, i am not keen on pink, purple, or any other non-natural colours on horses, unless they're "colours"
Actually, I like these!!!! Not the pink, but the more subtle colours such as the navy blue or purple matched with black as the background colour is very little difference from plain black - though it may depend on the colour of the horse. Its my birthday today - I think I'm going to treat myself and scandalise my dressage yard!
Any1 know the difference between dressage reins and non dressage reins on them?
You went for it - and he looks GORGEOUS!!!!!! You've got me in two minds now - subtle purple or pink bling which I think looks just FAB on your boy (mine is grey too)
I think lifeslemons has a pink bridle perhaps you should ask him where he got it from, either that or he was pulling our legs when he said 'look for a gay riding a grey wearing a pink bridle'....I can't confirm as we never saw him a the show, he had already left.
At first I thought you were kidding, but they really exist don't they!
I can't see them catching on except with the teenage fraternity on huge DIY yards who always seem to have the most outlandish tack available.
I quite like fancy browbands but that's about it colour-wise, and pink? NEVER!!!!!
I do however always think anyone should wear/buy whatever they find pleases them, and the colours are quite discreet, so go for it
I agree with Law that CS do lovely bridles. I've got a bling one of theirs and a padded dark pink one. Both are lovely. The next step would be to combine the 2!!

I've only got reins from them but I was SO impressed with the quality and the bridle quality looks spot on too. I like these coloured padded bridles; they are quite subtle compared to www.pinkequine.com
I like them both but prefer the understated CS ones
(Not that i have one or need one- I've got 5 bridles already and can only wear them one at a time
i have one and love it i have a black bridle with blue stones in the browband i didn't go for coloured padding, the leather is nice soft and supple i would recamend

Ooh, that's VERY pretty.
Blame away! I, for instance, blame SN and the time we drank gallons of rosé wine at her house last time I was in England. the next day I was tempted by a pink saddle cloth and the rest is history! Honestly, ALL my tack was plain and discreet colours until then!!
Ok, I wasn't actually asking if people liked the idea or not, but I've obviously started a great disscussion point
I'm NOT getting pink, I'm getting the Aquamarine and it will ONLY be the browband that has that colour, the rest of it, including the noseband, will be black! Ok!?!?
And I'll put a pic up of Flo in it for you all to admire
