Pink jacket for show jumping

I have a pink show jacket and I was thinking about wearing it to a local show next year, but I wasn't sure if you're allowed to wear them as I've only seen people in navy and black. If any one could help that would be great :o

Sorry but anything other than Black, Navy, Grey and other dark colours, looks tacky and distasteful. I hate to see amateurs wearing red or 'hunting pink' jackets as I'm a traditionalist and only the top riders where allowed to wear them.
 
Don't think there is anything against it! Imo I think you'd stand out but then people that stand out end up getting judged and slaughtered by others opinions. I think it would look nice of everything was matchy matchy ;)... That said I'm not keen on pink! I very much doubt their will be a rule against it so you go for it :)
 
There is nothing to say that you can't. Most unaffiliated showjumping runs on BS rules in which case you can wear a traditional cut jacket in any colour you like.

A lot of people wear bright colours these days :)
 
You get pink tweeds in the top flight affiliated showing world so no reason why you can't wear pink at unaffiliated.

Im sure I read some where the other year that if your jacket is too loud and obnoxious the stewards/judges can prevent you from competing until you change. But don't quote me on that!

I have a pink showjacket!
I also have a black one though.

I like my pink one, it's a very flattering fit. There is a top showjumper (I think she's Ukranian?) who competes in pink too.

That said, I do think there is a taste level with pink. Mine is between a baby pink and a bright pink with plain white piping. It's not a bright, horrible shade and it's not blingy or anything else. I don't see pink being any worse in some of the colours the international teams compete in! (aren't the Netherlands bright orange?)

I did check the SJI rules and it states any colour but hunter green for a jacket.
