Pink muzzle advice

I have only had my loan pony through the winter and so problems with his pink muzzle have only just started. I have two questions:-


1. He is getting a sore muzzle due to buttercups in the field (there aren't that many) and I have been putting Sudacreme on it. Any other thoughts on what to use?

2. What do people find is the best product/item to prevent sunburn?

Yes a barrier cream like Sudocreme is best. I use a factor 50 waterproof kids sunblock, Lidl or Aldi are cheap and do the job to protect from sunburn.
